Altrevs Payment Systems Inc.

1. Agreement to these Terms

By accessing this website, submitting a pilot briefing, or otherwise using Altrevs materials, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) as an electronic document under Republic Act No. 8792 (the Electronic Commerce Act). If you do not agree, do not use the site or send us information.

These Terms are a contract between you and Altrevs Payment Systems Inc. (“Altrevs”, “we”, “us”). They apply to visitors, operators, merchants, developers, and anyone who provides information through this site.

2. Who we are

Altrevs Payment Systems Inc. provides developer and merchant gateway tooling and related introductions. This website describes product paths and how to brief a pilot. It is not a public offer of regulated payment services, not a schedule of fees, and not a list of live providers.

Questions about these Terms or your personal information: use the briefing form. Submissions are voluntary and land with Altrevs through your own email client.

3. Use of this site

You may use this site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • interfere with or disrupt the site, or attempt to probe or overload it;
  • scrape, harvest, or collect personal information of others without authority;
  • submit content that is false, defamatory, infringing, or that you have no right to share;
  • send payment-card numbers, account passwords, one-time codes, or other secrets through the public briefing form;
  • imply any partnership, license, or mandate that Altrevs has not confirmed in writing.

The site, sample operations feed, diagrams, and copy are for illustration. Sample events are not production traffic and are not a representation of any real merchant, volume, or rail.

4. Pilot briefings and no obligation

A briefing request is an inquiry, not a contract for services. Altrevs may accept, decline, or scope a pilot in its discretion. Nothing on this site is a commitment to connect a named provider, process transactions, or go live.

If you use the contact form, your device may open your own email client so that you send the message yourself. You control whether that message is sent.

5. Information is provided voluntarily

All information you provide as a visitor is voluntary. You are not required to create an account or to submit a briefing in order to read this site. If you choose to send a name, business name, email address, role, path interest, volumes, flows, or any other details, you do so of your own free will.

You represent that you have the right to provide the information you send, including any information about your organization or other people, and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Do not send sensitive personal information as defined under Republic Act No. 10173 (including government-issued identifiers, health data, or other sensitive categories) unless we have asked for it through a channel we designate in writing. The public form is not that channel.

6. Privacy and the Data Privacy Act

Altrevs treats personal information in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173 (the Data Privacy Act of 2012), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines (“NPC”). We act as a personal information controller for inquiry data you send to us.

6.1 What we may receive

If you submit a briefing: your name, business name, email address, role, path interest, and the contents of your message. We do not require this to browse the site. Server logs operated by our hosting environment may record technical data such as IP address, browser type, and time of access, as needed to operate and secure the site.

6.2 Purpose and lawful basis

We use what you send only to evaluate pilot fit, reply to you, keep a record of the inquiry, and improve how we brief operators — and for related legitimate purposes that are compatible with that inquiry. The lawful basis is your consent, given by the voluntary act of submitting information and, where shown, confirming these Terms.

6.3 How we keep information safe

We implement organizational, physical, and technical measures appropriate to a commercial inquiry, including limiting access to personnel who need it to respond, using reasonably secure professional email and devices, and not asking for data we do not need. We do not sell personal information. We do not use your briefing as a public case study without a separate written okay.

No electronic transmission is guaranteed to be absolutely secure. You are responsible for the security of your own device, email account, and network when you choose to send a message.

6.4 Sharing

We may share information with personnel, professional advisers, or processors who assist us in operating the site or evaluating a briefing, under confidentiality and only as needed. We may disclose information if required by Philippine law, a competent court, the NPC, or another lawful authority. Introductions to a payment provider, if any, happen only after a scoped briefing — not by publishing your details on this page.

6.5 Retention

We keep inquiry records only as long as needed to respond, to document the relationship, and to meet legal or dispute-related retention. We then delete or securely archive them in line with our retention practice.

6.6 Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you may request to be informed, to access, to correct, to erase or block, to object, to data portability, and to file a complaint, subject to the limits in the Act. To exercise these rights, use the briefing form. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission.

Nothing in these Terms waives a right that the Data Privacy Act does not allow you to waive.

7. Voluntary disclosure — no responsibility

Altrevs is not responsible for any voluntary disclosure of information.

Without limiting the previous sentence, we are not liable for:

  • personal or business information you choose to include in a briefing, email, attachment, or other message;
  • information you disclose to third parties, including by copying others, forwarding, posting, or discussing your inquiry outside this site;
  • information about other people that you send without their authority;
  • disclosure that occurs because you used a shared computer, public network, unsecured email, or a compromised account;
  • how your own email provider, device, or network handles a message you decided to send.

You remain responsible for deciding what to share, with whom, and through which channel. Voluntary disclosure by you does not create a duty on Altrevs beyond what Philippine law requires for personal information that is actually in our control.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Altrevs Payment Systems Inc., and its directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, and partners, from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs of investigation) arising out of or relating to:

  • your use or misuse of this site;
  • information you submit or fail to submit accurately;
  • your voluntary disclosure of information, including disclosure of another person’s data;
  • your breach of these Terms or of applicable law;
  • any claim that your content infringes or misuses a third party’s rights.

We may participate in the defense of any claim with counsel of our choosing. You may not settle a claim that imposes an obligation on Altrevs without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, Altrevs disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Altrevs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility. Our aggregate liability arising out of your use of this site or a voluntary briefing is limited to one thousand Philippine pesos (PHP 1,000), except where Philippine law does not allow that limit — including liability that cannot be limited under the Data Privacy Act for personal information in our control.

10. Intellectual property

The Altrevs name, mark, site design, copy, and diagrams are owned by Altrevs Payment Systems Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or commercially reuse them without our prior written consent, except for fair use or other rights that Philippine copyright law already gives you.

You grant Altrevs a limited, non-exclusive right to use the information you send solely to evaluate and respond to your inquiry. We do not claim ownership of your business’s underlying intellectual property by receiving a briefing.

The site may open your email client, load fonts, or run on hosting and security infrastructure we do not operate. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Altrevs is not responsible for third-party sites or tools you choose to use, including after a voluntary disclosure through them.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory venue or procedure under the Data Privacy Act, you and Altrevs submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Philippines.

12. Changes, severability, entire agreement

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the site after a posting means you accept the updated Terms. For a material change to how we process personal information we already hold, we will take additional steps required by the Data Privacy Act where they apply.

If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement for use of this website and for information you send through it. They do not replace a later written pilot, services, or data-processing agreement between you and Altrevs, which will control for that engagement if one is signed.
